Yu An (“James”) Tung focuses his practice on commercial litigation and insurance defense. James represents and serves clients by advising on litigation strategy, drafting dispositive and discovery motions, conducting legal research, and preparing matters for depositions and trial. Before joining GRSM as an Associate, James worked with the firm as a law clerk on a variety of commercial and tort matters.

Before joining GRSM, James worked for multiple years in commercial lending and real estate transactions in Canada, giving him a strong understanding of how business deals are structured and where disputes typically originate. He grew up in Taiwan before moving to Vancouver, Canada, where he spent a decade prior to attending law school. James also studied abroad in China and Germany, taking courses in local law that strengthened his global perspective and his interest in representing international companies and clients with diverse backgrounds.
