Zach’s practice is centered on helping growth-stage and established healthcare companies build legally defensible operations from the ground up. His telehealth and GLP-1 work spans multi-state regulatory analysis, consumer-facing disclosure architecture, LegitScript certification readiness, and FTC/FDA-compliant marketing frameworks for weight loss and metabolic health programs. He routinely advises clients on compounding pharmacy relationships, the structure of medical weight management programs, and the evolving federal and state regulatory landscape governing GLP-1 therapeutics.
A significant portion of Zach’s practice involves structuring Management Services Organization arrangements, physician practice transactions, and corporate practice of medicine compliance across all 50 states. He has represented buyers and sellers in healthcare M&A transactions, including the acquisition of 24 skilled nursing and five assisted living facilities in a transaction valued at $140 million. His clients include telehealth platform operators, medspas, physician-owned practices, pharmacies, integrated medical practices, chiropractic offices, long term care facilities and healthcare technology companies seeking outside general counsel support on a fractional basis.
Prior to joining GRSM, Zach founded a boutique practice focused on corporate transactional law and healthcare regulatory compliance. Outside the office, Zach enjoys coastal activities and traveling with his wife, Ana, daughter, Zoe, and their dogs, Costa and Tucker.
