Amy P. Taylor is an Associate in the Seattle office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Product & General Liability, Employment, and Commercial Litigation practice groups. She brings a broad range of litigation experience to her practice, which includes complex research, regulatory and statutory analysis, and motions drafting.
Ms. Taylor received her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, where she was Lead Articles Editor of the Seattle Journal of Environmental Law. While in law school, Ms. Taylor entered in numerous moot court competitions and earned first place in a mock appellate competition. Ms. Taylor was also student editor of the American Bar Association’s Student Lawyer Magazine, where she wrote articles of, and edited submissions from, practitioners and law students from across the country.
Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. Taylor’s practice included commercial disputes, employment law issues and a broad range of transactional matters, such as reviewing non-compete agreements, drafting employee handbooks and performing due diligence on behalf of sellers and buyers.
Ms. Taylor worked as a journalist before entering the legal field.
