Anna Reinert is an Employment Law partner in the Denver office of Gordon & Rees. She partners with clients to develop strategies that address the unique business, financial and practical motivations of each matter she handles.
Ms. Reinert has extensive experience representing employers in state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies in Colorado. She concentrates her practice on litigation and administrative matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination under Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, CADA and other federal and state statutes. Ms. Reinert further concentrates on other matters stemming from employment such as malicious prosecution, abuse of process, defamation, negligence, breach of contract and violation of the Colorado Consumer Protection Act. Ms. Reinert also routinely represents employers in wage and hour actions brought on behalf of individuals or classes of individuals under the FLSA or Colorado’s Wage Act and related regulations. In addition, Ms. Reinert represents corporate clients on ADA barriers cases.
Outside of her litigation practice, Ms. Reinert advises companies on a wide range of employment issues, spanning from the initial hire of employees to terminations and layoffs. She works with clients to create and implement a variety of employment documents, policies and procedures such as employment handbooks, employment agreements, and severance agreements. Ms. Reinert also uses her training as a program performance auditor to draft policies and procedures to reduce waste, fraud and abuse and ensure regulatory compliance. She further provides training to all levels of employees regarding discrimination, harassment and retaliation.

Community Involvement
Ms. Reinert currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center. Prior to joining the board, Ms. Reinert worked as a supervising attorney at the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center where she represented hundreds of children in state juvenile, criminal and educational matters throughout Colorado, and supervised other practicing attorneys.
Ms. Reinert also served as the Co-Executive Director of the Denver Chapter of StandUp for Kids.
