Arthur D. Welton is an associate in the Oakland office of Gordon & Rees where he represents corporations and individuals in a range of complex business litigation, including product liability, personal injury and commercial litigation. Mr. Welton has a particular emphasis in complex commercial litigation representing multi-national corporations involved in the sales, marketing, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Mr. Welton also has significant experience handling wrongful death and catastrophic injury litigation, and has worked with prominent experts in various sciences and technologies.
Mr. Welton earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where he graduated cum laude. While in Law School Mr. Welton was an editor of the Constitutional Law Quarterly and served as a Board member for Outlaw, the College’s LGBTQ student group.
Mr. Welton obtained his B.S. from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where he double majored in both Political Science and History, graduating with honors.
