Biography

Brittney A. Nochimson is an Associate in the New Jersey office of GRSM. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Brittney focuses her practice on defending a wide array of professionals against claims of malpractice. Brittney represents corporations and professionals in claims arising from cyber risk, and she represents employers in claims arising from wrongful termination, retaliation and discrimination. She defends municipal and public entities in public policy and constitutional claims.  Additionally, Brittney defends medical professionals, medical entities, and long-term care facilities in claims of malpractice. She represents medical professionals in complaints before the New Jersey Medical Boards. 

Brittney graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University in 2018, with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and minor in Computer Science. Upon graduation, she was awarded Lehigh University's Presidential Scholarship, which she used to obtain her master's degree in Political Science the following year. She received her master's degree with distinction in 2019, after combining her interests in research, law and technology to write her master's thesis project on federal regulations for artificial intelligence technology and data privacy.

Brittney graduated cum laude from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School in May 2022. During law school, Brittney served on George Mason Law Review in her 2L year and then as Senior Research Editor in her 3L year. As Senior Research Editor, Brittney managed seven teams of editors and candidate members to review the credibility of sources cited in forthcoming publications and to review those publications for proper Bluebook citation format.  Additionally, Brittney was a member of the Trial Advocacy Association, Phi Delta Phi, and the VBA Pro Bono Society. Notably, during the summer between her 2L and 3L years, Brittney was selected to participate in her law school’s National Security & Separation of Powers Study Abroad Program. As part of that program, she studied constitutional, national security, and administrative law topics in Reykjavik, Iceland under two justices of the United States Supreme Court and former members of the Intelligence Community.  

Also, during law school, Brittney completed two internships for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration in the Regulations and Security Standards Division of the TSA Chief Counsel's Office. She also completed a third internship with the TSA Chief Counsel's Office in the Litigation Division. Additionally, Brittney worked as a summer associate at a regional law firm in Virginia, and she served as a remote judicial extern for the Honorable Ryan D. Nelson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Outside of work, Brittney enjoys cooking, reading the news, and traveling. She is an avid New York sports fan and enjoys attending games with friends and family.
