Brittney B. Rykovich is senior counsel in the Indianapolis Office of Gordon & Rees where she focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters. 

As a skilled litigator, at both the state and federal court level, Ms. Rykovich represents a wide range of clients from small private organizations to Fortune 500 companies.  Ms. Rykovich has significant experience handling a variety of commercial litigation claims, including breach of contract, products liability, trademark infringement and consumer protection disputes. 

In addition, Ms. Rykovich defends employers against claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination.  Ms. Rykovich’s representation includes frequent interactions with administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Indiana Civil Rights Commission. As part of her employment practice, Ms. Rykovich assists her clients in developing risk management strategies in order to ensure compliance with state and federal law.  

Prior to joining Gordon and Rees, Ms. Rykovich spent seven years in Chicago representing corporations, financial institutions and mortgage lenders in real estate and business litigation, which included assisting in the recovery of the largest indemnity Fund Judgment Award in the State of Illinois.

Ms. Rykovich received her B.A. from the University of Iowa in 2006 and her J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2009. She has served as the chair of the Chicago Bar Association Real Estate Taxation Tax Deed/Tax Sale Subcommittee and a Young Associate Board Member of Almost Home Kids, a transitional care home for children with complicated health needs. Currently, Ms. Rykovich is a mentor at Pass the Torch for Women Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing guidance, support and professional training for female college students as they transition into the workforce.
