Courtney R. Abbott is an accomplished attorney with more than 20 years of experience practicing law across the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Specializing in employment law and commercial litigation, Courtney has a strong track record of successfully litigating and providing counsel in a wide range of legal matters.

She has represented both management and employees in numerous state and federal employment law cases involving Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, and ADA, and has participated in various trials and arbitration proceedings. Courtney is also skilled in delivering training on employment law issues for national clients, conducting workplace investigations, and drafting a wide variety of legal documents, including employment manuals, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, and severance agreements.

Additionally, Courtney has extensive experience in commercial litigation, handling disputes related to employment, shareholder and partnership disagreements, fiduciary duties, contract actions, defamation, real estate transactions, and more.
