Cristina Guerrero is an experienced civil litigator and serves as senior counsel in the Houston, Texas office. Ms. Guerrero has a proven track record of successful litigation and counseling management in all areas of employment law, intellectual property and commercial litigation.

Ms. Guerrero has participated in numerous trials, administrative and arbitration proceedings, representing management in state and Federal employment law matters involving Title VII, FLSA, FMLA and ADA. She has prepared and presented employment law training sessions for clients and is proficient at drafting employment manuals and personnel policies, non-disclosure agreements, non-competition agreements, employment agreements, consulting agreements, partnership agreements, severance agreements, and model offer letters.

Ms. Guerrero has experience with a variety of commercial litigation matters, including, employment disputes, non-competition agreements, interference with contracts or business relationships, shareholder and partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary duty cases, disputes over corporate management and control, contract actions, real estate transactions and lease disputes.

Ms. Guerrero’s intellectual property practice focuses on brand development and protection to meet the needs of start-ups, entrepreneurs, and established companies in various industries, including fashion and entertainment.  She has significant experience consulting with clients and implementing protection measures for client’s identity, content, ideas, and intellectual property rights through NDAs, Privacy Policy Agreements, Terms of Service Agreements, and cease and desist letters to potential infringers.  Ms. Guerrero has significant experience in prosecuting applications for trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is also experienced in prosecuting and defending applications for injunctive relief and/or damages for trademark infringement and unfair competition claims.
