Elysia R. Buckley is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Gordon & Rees and a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Ms. Buckley’s practice includes defending corporate clients in all phases of litigation. In addition to litigation, her practice includes general healthcare counseling and advice.

Prior to joining Gordon Rees, Ms. Buckley advised and supported the General Counsel of an innovative medical technology company in Redwood City. Ms. Buckley made recommendations and implemented internal compliance measures pursuant to HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA. Ms. Buckley is a certified information privacy professional in the US.

Ms. Buckley received her JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, with a concentration in Health and Life Sciences. During law school, she externed with both the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and the California Department of Justice. Ms. Buckley also served as a research assistant for UCSF/UC Hastings Consortium on Law, Science and Health Policy, and was inducted into the Pro Bono Society as recognition for her work assisting low-income bay area residents through consumer advocacy and tax preparation.
