Ian Williamson is a Partner with the firm’s Environmental/Toxic Tort and Construction practice groups. Mr. Williamson has experience handling insurance coverage litigation, construction litigation, business litigation, and insurance defense for product liability, general liability and construction defect. He has handled these cases from intake, through trial, and on appeal.

Mr. Williamson currently represents several construction and automotive industry clients in the defense of asbestos claims. He manages the firm’s representation of Hennessy Industries in asbestos litigation in California and leads the team that handles those cases.

In the construction field, Mr. Williamson has advised and represented clients in contract negotiation, mechanic’s lien claims, construction contract disputes and construction defect litigation. He has also represented and advised institutional property owners on construction issues. Mr. Williamson has represented virtually every sub-trade from underground utilities to roofing and skylights in both commercial and residential construction. Mr. Williamson has also represented design professionals in malpractice claims.
