Jacqueline De Leon is a partner in the Miami office of GRSM. She is centrally located in Orlando and handles cases throughout the State of Florida. Jacqueline concentrates her practice in litigation and the handling of complex insurance coverage and bad faith disputes as well as employment-related and professional liability disputes.
Jacqueline regularly represents insurers in matters involving a wide variety of insurance products including, without limitation, professional liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, homeowners and commercial property, commercial and personal auto, commercial general liability (including individual and class action construction defect claims), workers’ compensation and employers’ liability, and employment practices liability (including individual and class action wage hour/overtime, harassment, and discrimination claims). Jacqueline regularly defends insurance brokers, title agents, and other professionals in malpractice claims.
Jacqueline represents insurers in litigation and coverage assignments involving first-party property claims. She has handled losses involving hurricane damage, windstorms, water damage, sinkholes and fire losses throughout Florida. Her experience includes property claims arising under both commercial and residential property insurance.
Additionally, Jacqueline represents insureds as appointed counsel in direct litigation involving a broad range of claims, including personal injury, commercial, and employment disputes.
Jacqueline also has served as monitoring counsel/coverage counsel for insurers in the State of Florida.
