James "Jim" Regan is a partner in the New York office and a member of the Product & General Liability practice group.  Jim represents manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of various consumer products in claims and actions across the country involving allegations of property damage and personal injuries. Jim understands the extensive work and pride manufacturers take in developing products, and the risks of litigation posed to his clients. He works diligently to resolve cases efficiently and effectively, including several pre-litigation resolutions.

Jim's practice involves working closely with manufacturers and experts to identify and develop defenses to liability.  He has achieved successful results on numerous claims based on lack of evidence of product identification, or lack of design or manufacturing defect.  He has handled claims involving minor exposure levels to multi-million dollar claims of property damage and personal injury with wide ranging implications. Jim zealously represents his clients in actions in both Federal and State Courts around the country involving a myriad of factual and legal issues.  He has extensive experience in conducting and defending depositions, developing evidence through discovery, working with experts, and resolving cases through various means including direct negotiation and mediation.
