James Nally focuses his practice in the area of product liability litigation and counseling. As a fierce advocate, Mr. Nally has obtained several favorable verdicts at trial and aggressively defends his clients at mediation and arbitration. He counsels manufacturers, distributors and retailers in subrogation, product defect claims, and coverage disputes. He has extensive experience representing clients in proceedings at all stages of litigation in local, state and federal courts throughout North America.
In addition to product liability, Mr. Nally has experience defending clients in medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, class actions, and labor law claims. Mr. Nally has also represented clients in real estate transactions from contract through closing.
Mr. Nally previously practiced at the headquarters of a Manhattan-based medical defense firm. He also worked at a firm in Bayside, New York representing small businesses.
Mr. Nally gained a wealth of knowledge through a variety of legal externships and internships during law school, including work with the Suffolk County Attorney's Tort Law Bureau and Nassau Legal Services. Prior to law school, Mr. Nally worked as a paralegal in Garden City, New York for outside counsel to a major New York Insurance Company.
