Joe Corsello is an Associate in the New York office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Tort & Product Liability and Commercial Litigation practice groups. He has experience handling a range of complex litigation, including construction, premises liability, real estate, transportation and business litigation. He has extensive experience conducting depositions and achieving success at mediation and arbitration. Mr. Corsello has negotiated numerous favorable settlements on behalf of his clients prior to and during litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced at a national law firm representing insurance companies, financial institutions, real estate owners and managers throughout all aspects of litigation. He has argued substantive motions in both federal and state courts and has participated in several trials resulting in favorable defense verdicts.
While in law school, Mr. Corsello participated in the Cardozo Human Rights and Genocide Clinic, where he successfully represented a client seeking political asylum in the United States. Additionally, he worked as a Student Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and second-chaired a felony jury trial. He also worked as the Intellectual Property and Litigation extern at DIAGEO North America, where he gained experience in trademark enforcement, prepared sponsorship agreements and ensured compliance with advertising regulations.
