Judith A. Cregan, Senior Counsel in the Sacramento office of Gordon & Rees, believes in serving her clients and keeping them informed. With experience working in large and small businesses, and an MBA, she understands a business’ complex needs. She also understands that the law can be intimidating for many people, including sophisticated clients. That is why she takes the time to explain the applicable law to her clients in an understandable way. She brings a common-sense approach to every problem.
Raised in Lodi, California, Ms. Cregan is a graduate of Half Moon Bay High School. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, graduating with a B.S. in Horticulture. While working for ten years in international agriculture, Ms. Cregan earned her MBA from Santa Clara University. After leaving agricultural work, she studied pre-med classes at U.C. Santa Cruz, but ultimately decided to attend law school in Sacramento at Pacific McGeorge School of Law, graduating in 2000 with honors. Adventure called in 2014 when Ms. Cregan attended Tulane University to earn an LL.M. in Admiralty/Maritime Law.

Her clients have included shipping lines, HMOs, medical clinics, physicians, biotechnology companies, construction companies, architects, HOAs and federal land banks. She has worked with Native American tribes on gaming issues, the Indian Child Welfare Act, business contracts and casino litigation. Ms. Cregan has practiced in both state and federal courts, as well as in mediations and arbitrations.
