Kimberly Sheridan is a partner in the Commercial, Construction, Environmental/Toxic Tort, and Employment Litigation practice groups. Ms. Sheridan is a seasoned litigator, who handles matters from pre-suit investigation through trial. She has experience representing clients in complex, high-stakes litigation throughout the Southeast. As a litigator, Ms. Sheridan focuses on an early assessment of the client’s goals and needs, while thinking creatively to reach the most efficient matter resolution.
As a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group, Ms. Sheridan handles matters that touch virtually every aspect of running a business. Representative matters include: breach of contract, premises liability, personal injury, trucking accidents, and cargo loss.
As a member of the Construction Litigation practice group, Ms. Sheridan’s experience focuses mainly on the representation of public and private owners, general contractors, and product manufacturers. Representative matters include: defending breach of contract claims relating to project execution, defending breach of warranty claims, and advising clients regarding contract negotiation.
As a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort Litigation practice group, Ms. Sheridan specializes in the defense of complex environmental claims, toxic tort and product liability claims. She represents a wide range of entities in her practice, including corporations, manufacturers, product suppliers, property owners, insurance companies, municipalities, and construction companies. Representative matters include: defending breach of contract matters with alleged environmental impact and defending breach of warranty matters alleging exposure to harmful particulates.
As a member of the Employment Litigation practice group, Ms. Sheridan defends employers in state and federal courts as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Representative matters include defense of employers in claims relating to: wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, and other employment-related claims.
