Biography

Mallory J. Benner is an Associate in the Livingston office of GRSM where she handles a variety of litigation actions. Mallory’s experience includes preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery responses; taking depositions; representing clients at mediations; and appearing for oral argument before trial courts. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Prior to joining GRSM, Mallory represented employees and employers in all areas of labor and employment litigation, with a focus on discrimination, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, and whistleblower claims at a law firm in Warren, New Jersey. In addition, she represented boards of education on special education matters, including appearances before the Office of Administrative Law. Mallory also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Nesle A. Rodriguez, P.J.F.P. in Hudson County, where she assisted in the preparation of written decisions and conducted facilitations involving a wide range of family law issues.

Mallory graduated magna cum laude from Hofstra University in 2016, with a bachelor’s degree in criminology. While at Hofstra, she was part of the Hofstra University Division I Soccer Team. She then earned her law degree from Rutgers Law School in 2019. While completing her legal education, she served as an Articles Editor for the Rutgers University Law Review.
