Michael J. Westwood-Booth is an associate in the Florham Park office of Gordon & Rees. Michael’s practice focuses on complex commercial, labor and employment, and intellectual property matters in both federal and state courts.
Notably, Michael passionately defends restaurants and corporations in a variety of wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, and breach of contract lawsuits. Michael also prosecutes actions to recover misappropriated trade secrets and disgorge ill-gotten gains.
Michael received his Juris Doctor from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he served as an academic and writing tutor for first-year students, and as the captain of the Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Team.
After law school, Michael was a law clerk for two federal judges in the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Northern District of Illinois. There, Michael gained a valuable and unique insight into the judicial process and applies this perspective when resolving client matters quickly, efficiently, and realistically.
