Nathan J. Ward is an Associate of the Medicare Compliance Group at Gordon & Rees, focusing on the resolution of Medicare compliance issues that arise in the settlement of workers’ compensation and general liability claims. Mr. Ward also represents a wide range of healthcare providers in the settlement of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer audit disputes.
Prior to joining this group, Mr. Ward provided research, writing, and document review support to attorneys in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice as a Law Clerk. In addition, he has a wide breadth of project management, quality control, and writing experience stemming from his work with companies in the fields of marketing and technology.
Mr. Ward received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University in 2012. While at the university, he served as Associate Editor of Juris Magazine and as a Certified Legal Intern for the Bill of Rights Law Clinic, where he was admitted to represent a pro se litigant before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. In 2004, Mr. Ward graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in English from Point Park University.
