Biography

Nima Nayebi is a Partner in the firm's San Francisco office and a member of the Employment Law practice group. Nima has extensive experience defending pre-litigation employment claims, claims before administrative agencies, and the Labor Commissioner, as well as litigated disputes, including breach of contract, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, and wage and hour disputes. Nima is an expert legal writer and researcher. He frequently drafts motions for summary judgment and other filings in state and federal courts, including a recent winning motion for summary judgment for a hospital client that received coverage by the Daily Journal. Nima has also authored several winning appellate briefs, including to the US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. In addition, Nima has experience with disability access lawsuits, including unique defense strategies on such claims, and advises clients on accessibility issues, including regarding websites. Nima also regularly counsels clients regarding employment practices and internal policies to mitigate risk. Nima also handles defense-side personal injury litigation and has experience with the defense of public entities on a variety of matters.
