Scott Sokol is senior counsel with Gordon & Rees.  Although he is based in California, Mr. Sokol also provides service to his clients on a regional and national level and he routinely litigates matters across the United States.  Mr. Sokol's practice encompasses all aspects of construction-related litigation, where he has substantial experience defending claims regarding design errors, construction deficiencies, construction management issues and product failures. Mr. Sokol represents a wide variety of architects, engineers, real estate developers, general contractors, specialty contractors and product manufacturers.  Mr. Sokol also has significant experience in defending professionals in other industries, including real estate and insurance, from professional liability claims.  In addition, Mr. Sokol handles environmental claims resulting from construction activities, land development and hazardous materials exposure.
