Ramesses S. Surban is an Associate in the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group in San Diego. His civil practice focuses on the litigation of product liability, premises liability, and construction defect matters, in addition to environmental and toxic tort claims. A rising litigator with experience in personal injury and employment disputes, he has briefed and argued a number of successful dispositive motions.
Prior to law, he enjoyed a nearly decade-long career as an urban planner, where he managed environmental issues at various project sites across California.
Obtained client’s dismissal from all counts in a construction defect matter involving claims of professional negligence and related causes of action.
Successfully opposed successive motions to reinstate default judgment, impose evidentiary sanctions, and appoint receiver over corporate client in a commercial breach of contract dispute.
