Robert Olson is an associate in the San Diego office of Gordon & Rees and a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort and Employment practice groups. Mr. Olson has achieved success concerning a variety of litigation and mass torts throughout California. He has represented businesses in all aspects of employment litigation. He has also represented various Admiralty and Trucking matters.
Mr. Olson is a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. He flew helicopters for 11 years, and he recently returned from a deployment to the Middle East. With 15 years as a Naval Officer, he brings his clients unique skills, experience, and leadership.
Mr. Olson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego, School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, in New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Maritime Logistics with a Minor in Marine Engineering. He is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Olson is a recipient of two Navy Commendation Medal, two Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal and the Sikorsky Rescue Award.
