Ryan R. Laddey is an Associate in the New York office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Environmental & Toxic Tort practice group.

Mr. Laddey’s practice focuses on toxic tort litigation, including occupational asbestos exposure and non-occupational talc exposure claims. Mr. Laddey litigates in judicial departments in New York City and upstate New York. He has experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Ryan graduated from Rutgers Law School in May 2018. While at Rutgers, Ryan participated in the Constitutional Rights Clinic and completed internships with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Eastern Environmental Law Center. Ryan was awarded the Rutgers Academic Achievement Award for the Best Note, Comment, or Scholarly Paper for his work studying the effects of climate change on internal and cross-border migration and the legal protections necessary for climate change refugees, particularly women who are displaced.

Prior to law school Mr. Laddey worked for five years in the fields of climate change and sustainable development at the United Nations where he worked closely with representatives of national governments throughout the African continent and Arab states and traveled to these regions.
