Sheldon R. Poole is an Associate in the Hartford office of Gordon & Rees and handles a wide range of litigation matters with a focus on products liability, toxic tort and employment related matters.  In addition, Attorney Poole handles Entertainment related matters.
Products Liability and Toxic Tort:
Mr. Poole has a wealth of experience defending claims against manufactures of complex commercial machinery and consumer products.  He has handled complex personal injury and property suits involving alleged catastrophic injuries, including wrongful death and survivorship claims.  Mr. Poole has handled all phases of litigation in cases pending throughout the country.
Mr. Poole also represents employers in disputes in Connecticut and Massachusetts state courts, and before state administrative agencies including the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He has defended a significant number of employers accused of wrongdoing including claims of discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, hostile work environment, infliction of emotional distress, and retaliation.
Mr. Poole has the pleasure of representing Platinum Recording Producers The Breed Entertainment.  He handles all aspects of their producer agreements, including negotiating, drafting and enforcing the agreements.  In addition, Mr. Poole has successfully represented The Breed in matters involving copyright infringement on their intellectual property. 
Pro Bono Work:
Mr. Poole has handled multiple pro bono matters since joining Gordon & Rees. The representation of pro bono clients has allowed Mr. Poole to hone and enhance his litigation skills in his other areas of practice.  He represents clients in claims alleging Civil Rights violations and claims involving domestic violence.  Mr. Poole has obtained several favorable settlements for victims of discrimination.  In addition, Mr. Poole regularly assists veterans in housing related matters.
