Biography

Taylor Hixon is an Associate in the GRSM Chicago office. She focuses her practice on employment law, education law, and environmental/toxic tort matters. Prior to joining the firm, Taylor was an educator, and taught in Idaho, North Carolina, and Illinois.

Taylor earned her Juris Doctorate from University of Illinois Chicago. While in law school, Taylor was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council and served as both Student Publications Editor and Staff Editor on the UIC Law Review. She also interned with Equip for Equality in the Special Education Division, UIC Athletic Department in the Compliance Department, and J.R. Simplot in the IP Legal Department, giving her valuable experience in a variety of business structures and organizations.

Taylor also externed for the Honorable Anne M. Burke of the Illinois Supreme Court and the Honorable Michael B. Hyman of the Appellate Court, First District where she obtained invaluable insight into legal research and writing. Additionally, Taylor was a Teacher Assistant for Tort Professor Rogelio Lasso and a Research Assistant for Evidence Professor Hugh Mundy.
