Trina M. Clayton is Senior Counsel in the San Francisco office of GRSM and is a member of the Product & General Liability and Automotive Litigation and Autonomous Vehicles practice groups.  Trina has spent over 20 years successfully defending vehicle, equipment, and product manufacturers in a variety of matters with an emphasis on consumer warranty, product defect, toxic tort, and personal injury. Her experience includes defense of Fortune 500 corporations, mid-size companies, and family-owned businesses.  She is well versed in all phases of litigation and has enjoyed great success in obtaining dismissals, summary judgments and favorable settlements for her clients. Trina has significant experience with both single- and multi-party litigation and is equally knowledgeable with defending claims in both state and federal court.

Prior to joining GRSM, Trina additionally represented both companies and individuals in matters involving product liability, employment law, cannabis, and general business litigation.  Her extensive experience includes second-chair counsel work, pretrial motion practice, discovery preparation, fact and expert witness depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
