William (“Will”) Blount is an Associate in the Charleston office of GRSM and a member of the Commercial Litigation and Asbestos & Toxic Tort groups.
Will obtained his undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College in Michigan while majoring in Political Economy and minoring in Math He also wrote and conducted a radio show called “Simply Defined” on the Hillsdale College radio station while studying at Hillsdale. His Juris Doctor was obtained from the University of Georgia School of Law where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Will was awarded the Outstanding Legal Defense Clinic Student award for his work on a criminal defense appeal in the Law School’s Criminal Defense Practicum.
Prior to joining GRSM, Will worked for a boutique law firm in Charleston and handled a range of insurance defenses cases focusing primarily on personal injury and toxic torts.
