William McGovern is an Associate in the New Jersey office of GRSM and is a member of the Employment Law practice group.
William devotes his practice to defending both public-sector and private-sector employers from a variety of employment-related matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and whistleblower claims in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York, as well as before state and federal administrative agencies, such as the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York City Human Rights Commission, and the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Prior to joining GRSM, he spent eight years with the Newark and New York offices of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he investigated and mediated hundreds of discrimination complaints. William also proudly served as a soldier and officer with the New Jersey Army National Guard.
