Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Washington D.C. Senior Counsel Nicholas Hallenbeck has been elected Secretary of the D.C. Defense Lawyers Association (DCDLA). Hallenbeck is a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation and Professional Liability Defense practice groups.
The DCDLA consists of more than 100 attorneys who devote substantial time to the defense of civil cases in the courts of the District of Columbia. The Association provides for an exchange of information on the procedures and law related to the defense of civil actions, seeks to elevate the standards of trial practice, improve the adversary system, work toward elimination of delay in civil litigation, and increase the quality of service that the legal profession renders to the community.
Hallenbeck has significant experience in litigation over a broad range of practice areas including complex commercial disputes, insurance coverage issues, professional liability claims, employment disputes, healthcare-related litigation, general liability defense and cybersecurity investigations.
