Jonathan joins the Westchester office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Jonathan served in the tort division of the New York City Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel for the City of New York. Jonathan earned his J.D. from Pace University School of Law and his B.A. from State University of New York, College at Cortland.
Jeffrey joins the Hartford office as a member of the Business Transactions and Intellectual Property practice groups. He advises clients on sourcing, commercialization, and the use and protection of technology and technology-enabled products and services. Before practicing law, Jeff worked for more than ten years in the software industry at a healthcare technology company. Jeffrey earned his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and his B.S. from Northeastern University.
Ryan joins the Seattle office as a member of the Construction practice group. He counsels and defends businesses, from start-ups to mega corporations, in all aspects of business, employment, and construction matters, up to and including litigation. He has experience drafting, negotiating, and finalizing complex real estate, construction and business contracts for multiple businesses. Ryan earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and his B.A. from Westmont College.
Lexi joins the Sacramento office as a member of the Employment practice group. She defends and counsels employers in all phases of employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation and whistleblower claims, and alleged wage and hour violations. Additionally, Lexi’s practice includes representing her clients in disputes arising out of commercial contracts, intellectual property, and employee mobility matters. Lexi earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University, School of Law and her B.A. from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Mary joins the Chicago office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She focuses her practice on complex mass tort litigation primarily involving product liability, premises liability and toxic torts, with an emphasis on exposures to asbestos, talcum powder and various chemicals. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Mary practiced toxic tort litigation at another prominent firm in Chicago, as well as insurance defense in Virginia. Mary earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Jessica joins the San Diego office as a member of the Insurance practice group. She has extensive experience assisting clients in all aspects of business litigation, including complex shareholder disputes, insurance coverage, antitrust, and real estate litigation. She primarily handles complex litigation matters but has represented clients at all court levels, from conciliation court to the United States Supreme Court. Jessica earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and her B.S. from the University of Kansas.
Angela joins the Louisville office as a member of the Construction practice group. She frequently consults with steel fabricators and other members of the structural steel industry on issues such as: claims for non-payment; allegations of defective fabrication and erection of structural steel; OSHA violations and related retaliation actions; application of the Buy America(n) statutes and regulations; and contracts between steel fabricators, general contractors, and downstream detailers, structural engineers, and erectors. Angela earned her J.D. from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and her B.S. from the University of Louisville, Speed Scientific School.
Lisa joins the San Diego office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She has prior experience in a wide array of practice areas including the maritime, personal injury, appellate, and regulatory compliance. Most recently, she worked as a Director with a non-profit handling Medicaid reform initiatives in New York. Lisa earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Riverside.
Carrie joins the Columbus office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Carrie served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Marie Hoover at the Fourth District Court of Appeals in Portsmouth, Ohio and to Judge Richard M. Rogers at the Third District Court of Appeals in Lima, Ohio. Carrie earned her J.D. from Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law and her B.S. from the University of Cincinnati.
Mark joins the New York office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. He has a broad range of experience representing defendants in a variety of toxic tort and product liability actions in New York, New Jersey, and federal courts. Mark has represented numerous industrial and residential product and equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and premises owners throughout all stages of litigation. Mark earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and his B.A. from Rutgers University.
Todd joins the Atlanta office as a member of the Employment practice group. He has represented clients across the spectrum, from multi-national corporations, to small family owned business, while working closely with major insurers. Todd practices in the areas of professional litigation, insurance coverage, financial services, employment, cyber law, product liability and general casualty litigation. Todd earned his J.D. from John Marshall Law School and his B.S. from Miami University.
