Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani New York Partner, Claudia A. Costa, will be a featured speaker at the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) sponsored COVID-19 Webinar series Tuesday, April 14. Costa and Margaret Hackbarth, a risk management professional, will lead a discussion entitled, “COVID-19 and Its Impact on the Insurance Industry.”
Costa will be speaking about the impact COVID-19 is having on the insurance industry and the extent to which insurance may cover any losses businesses experience due to the pandemic. Given the quickly changing laws, employers may be faced with a multitude of future claims and with questions regarding the termination of employees and other efforts to keep their business going.
Costa is a partner in the New York office of Gordon & Rees and a member of the Employment Law, Professional Liability Defense, and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Her practice focuses on the defense of private and publicly held corporations in all aspects of employment-related matters.
