Gordon & Rees Welcomes Nine New Attorneys in May and June 2020

In May and June, Gordon & Rees welcomed nine new attorneys to our Hartford, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Tampa offices. They join us as members of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors' Rights, Commercial Litigation, Construction, Employment Law, Health Care, Insurance, and Product & General Liability Practice Groups. Ian Cha, Senior Counsel
San Francisco, Construction

Ian joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Construction practice group. He is a construction litigation attorney who also possesses claims management experience. He is also a licensed architect and construction forensic expert with experience investigating design and construction claims, providing analysis on damage assessment and cost and repair methodology in support of construction litigation. In this role, he provides standard of care opinions on architects, general contractors, and subcontractors. Ian earned his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law and his B.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology.


Tracy Costantino, Senior Counsel
Los Angeles, Employment Law

Tracy joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She has more than 20 years of experience litigation employment matters in state and federal courts, as well as before state and federal administrative agencies. She advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including those involving wage and hour issues, class action litigation, discrimination and harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims. She also advises and trains managers and supervisors on preventive litigation practices, focusing on how to comply with applicable laws and regulations, avoid workplace disputes, and resolve employee relations problems. Tracy earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and her B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles.


Daniel Dubé, Of Counsel
Hartford, Commercial Litigation

Daniel joins the Hartford office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He is experienced in civil and criminal litigation and known for hands-on, detailed preparation and genuine courtroom advocacy. Daniel seeks the reform of systemic problems and to obtain the redress of particular grievances. Daniel earned his J.D. from The George Washington University and his B.A. from Concordia University.


Ashley Horton, Senior Counsel
Pittsburgh, Health Care

Ashley joins the Pittsburgh office as a member of the Health Care practice group. Ashley earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and her B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.


Robin Krutzsch, Senior Counsel
San Francisco, Construction

Robin joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Construction practice group. She focuses her practice in the areas of construction defect, contract dispute, professional liability, and personal injury defense. She represents real estate developers, contractors, and design professionals in construction defect claims and contract disputes pertaining to commercial buildings, multi-family projects, high-rise condominiums, and single-family residences. She is experienced in all aspects of litigation, from discovery to law and motion and trial. Robin earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and her B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.


Suleman Malik, Associate
New York, Construction

Suleman joins the New York office as a member of the Construction practice group. He concentrates his practice on defense litigation, primarily in areas involving complex tort and general casualty, construction and transportation. He handles risk, crisis and claim management and is dedicated to defending the firm's clients at every stage of litigation. Suleman has experience in a wide range of practice areas. He has handled cases on behalf of individuals and corporations in various matters involving complex commercial and class action litigation, civil rights litigation, labor and employment, hospital and nursing home negligence, professional malpractice and asbestos litigation. Suleman earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University and his B.A. from Emory University.


Seth Nirenberg, Associate
New York, Product & General Liability

Seth joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. He concentrates his practice on premises liability, product liability defense, and insurance coverage. He has experience as a law clerk in insurance defense, family law and bankruptcy law. Seth earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from University at Albany.


Chantel Wonder, Senior Counsel
Tampa, Insurance | Commercial Litigation | Construction

Chantel joins the Tampa office as a member of the Insurance, Commercial Litigation, and Construction practice groups. She has previously worked as lead litigation in-house counsel in Florida for national debt-buying company, handling all highly contested cases received in-house and referred from external firms. She has also handled cases involving fee-seeking opposing counsel on credit card collections cases, defending FDCPA, FCCPA, and TCPA claims, and has conducted more than 30 Florida State Court bench trials, contested hearings, and evidentiary attorneys’ fees hearings. Chantel earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and her B.A. from Stetson University.


Chloe Woods, Associate
Phoenix, Employment Law | Commercial Litigation | Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors' Rights

Chloe joins the Phoenix office as a member of the Employment Law, Commercial Litigation, and Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors' Rights practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, Chloe maintained a diverse practice, representing clients in state and federal courts, as well as administrative proceedings, holding roles with the United States Postal Service, Assistant Attorney General at the Arizona Attorney General's Office, Executive Director & General Counsel of the Virgin Islands Bar Association, Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, Assistant City Counselor for the City of St. Louis, and Corporate Counsel at Peabody Energy Corporation. Chloe earned her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and her B.A. from Columbia University.
