Allison joins the Raleigh office as a member of the Health Care practice group. She focuses her practice on professional malpractice, commercial and business litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and appeals. Ms. Becker regularly represents individuals, health care providers, businesses, insurance companies and their insureds in a variety of state and federal courts, as well as before professional licensing and regulatory boards. Allison is proficient in handling complex e-discovery projects, including retaining and working with vendors, designing document review protocols and quality control measures, and overseeing document production processes. She has over ten years of experience handling all aspects of litigation, from pleadings, to discovery and depositions, to motions practice, trial and appeals. Allison earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and her B.A. from Duke University.
Bennett joins the Honolulu office as a member of the Construction practice group. His practice is primarily focused on representing and counseling architects and engineers. He has more than 25 years of experience and is recognized by Best Lawyers® in the areas of Construction Law, Construction Litigation and Commercial Litigation. His construction law practice includes construction defect claims, delay impact and loss productivity claims, professional negligence claims, construction contract and payment disputes. Bennett has assisted clients on a wide variety of projects including shopping centers, airports, municipal works, transportation projects, residential projects, hospital projects, commercial high-rises, restaurants and government buildings. Bennett earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
Trina joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. She focuses her practice in civil litigation defense with an emphasis on products liability, toxic tort, personal injury, and business litigation. She has successfully represented manufacturers, distributors, contractors, fiber suppliers, and premises owners in suits including multiple-party litigation involving exposure to a variety of toxins. Trina earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her B.A. from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.
Erin joins the Boston office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She is a litigation attorney with a focus in complex commercial litigation, especially class actions and multidistrict litigations. Erin's litigation experience includes antitrust, securities, consumer protection, and product liability matters with a focus on the healthcare and pharmaceuticals industries. Her experience includes all phases of the litigation process, but has especially focused on e-discovery and using document review platforms to provide efficient and accurate review and fact development for clients handling large or unwieldy document productions. Erin earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A. from Swarthmore College.
Jeffrey joins the Alexandria office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. An experienced trial lawyer, Jeffrey has successfully represented companies and executives in complex litigation, arbitration, and agency proceedings in a wide variety of high-stakes business matters throughout the country. Jeffrey’s commercial litigation practice focuses on protecting the rights of businesses who sell their products and services online, including e-commerce retailers, technology companies, lead generators, affiliate advertisers, and related service providers. He aggressively litigates intellectual property claims involving copyright and trademark infringement as well as claims regarding trade secret misappropriation under DTSA and UTSA. He has extensive experience representing companies and individual officers & directors in cases concerning breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, civil conspiracy, conversion, defamation, and other traditional commercial issues. Jeffrey earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law and his B.A. from The College of William & Mary.
Sabrina joins the Honolulu office as a member of the Construction practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Sabrina was a litigation associate at a civil law firm in Honolulu. She clerked for the Intermediate Court of Appeals and the Honorable Jeannette H. Castagnetti at the First Circuit Court of Hawai‘i. Sabrina earned her J.D. from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law and her B.A. from Willamette University.
Ross joins the Seattle office as a member of the Intellectual Property practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Ross worked at a boutique mid-size firm with a focus on brand protection and anti-counterfeiting. He has experience in both transactional and litigation matters. Ross earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and his B.A. from The George Washington University.
David joins the Miami office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. He handles all aspects of State and Federal litigation arising under Title VII, FCRA, FLSA, ADEA, ADA, Florida Workers’ Compensation laws, and other employment laws. He also has experience prosecuting and defending complex commercial litigation matters in State and Federal court on behalf of public and private entities across the State of Florida. He primarily focuses on the areas of employment, government liability, bodily injury, and contracts. David earned his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Florida.
David joins the New York office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters, with particular emphasis on consumer and industrial product liability and mass torts, construction litigation, contract disputes, enforcing employment and non-compete agreements, and insurance coverage. He has extensive experience in all phases of civil litigation from depositions to appeals, including appearing before appellate courts and serving as trial counsel in courts throughout New York State. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Mr. Oxamendi was of counsel at another New York law firm where he served as coordinating counsel for a product equipment manufacturer, supervising local counsel in various states and executing litigation strategy. David earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and his B.A. from Florida International University.
Shannon joins the Pittsburgh office as a member of the Health Care practice group. She concentrates her practice in the defense of professional liability and medical malpractice claims, representing physicians, hospitals and other health care personnel. Over the course of her career, Shannon has represented a variety of health care entities and professionals, including physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, psychologists, psychiatrists and chiropractors. Outside of healthcare litigation, she has a broad background that includes white collar criminal defense and defending personal injury lawsuits. Shannon earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University.
Lindsey joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Health Care practice group. She focuses her practice in representing nationwide industry healthcare clients in complex civil litigation. Specifically, Lindsey specializes in sensitive or high exposure cases, including allegations of wrongful death, sexual and physical abuse, and catastrophic injury. Her practice areas also include medical and dental malpractice, long term care, and acute healthcare facilities, and commercial litigation. Lindsey can also assist clients in navigating healthcare board actions and other regulatory or governmental investigatory issues. Lindsey earned her J.D. from Stetson University of Law and her B.A. from Rutgers University.
Sebastian joins the San Diego office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Sebastian practiced as a solicitor (UK attorney) at various law firms in the United Kingdom, with a focus on commercial and civil litigation. Sebastian earned his Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the University of Hertfordshire and his B.A. from the University of Nottingham.
Rachel joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She has broad experience defending corporations, technology companies, financial institutions, and individuals in high-stakes litigation matters involving wage & hour class actions, employment law, internal investigations, torts, contract disputes, trade secrets, and other substantive areas. Rachel earned her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
