Zachary joins the San Diego office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. His practice encompasses a wide range of civil litigation matters, with a focus on defending companies and employers in employment actions. He also has extensive experience with real property and construction disputes, various types of contract disputes, shareholder derivative suits, and other heavily regulated practice areas such as intellectual property and taxation. Zachary earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law and his B.S. from Philadelphia University.
Ali joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. He focuses his practice on manufacturers and retailers' defense in consumer class actions, product liability, commercial litigation, consumer warranty, and fraud-related litigation, particularly in the automotive industry. Before joining Gordon & Rees, Ali was at the largest pro bono public interest law firm globally. While there, his practice included work in assisting vulnerable clients who were defrauded out of their home, personal property, or life savings or was facing immediate financial pressures due to the COVID- 19 outbreak. Ali earned his J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law and his B.S. from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.
Robert joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Robert earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.A. from City University of New York at Baruch College.
Hannah joins the San Diego office as a member of the Intellectual Property practice group. She works on a variety of intellectual property litigation matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright cases. Hannah earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.A. from Chapman University.
Daniel joins the Dallas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on litigation and insurance coverage, handling all aspects of insurance law, from policy drafting and construction to insurance coverage, complex litigation and claims audits. Daniel often defends and subrogates on behalf of insurers and self-insureds. With more than 12 years of insurance litigation experience, Daniel provides legal counsel/support to claims departments and manages outside counsel and vendors. Daniel earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School and his B.A. from The George Washington University.
Izik joins the New Jersey office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Before joining Gordon & Rees, Izik served as a judicial clerk in New Jersey for both the trial and appellate courts. He clerked for the Hon. Stephanie Ann Mitterhoff, J.A.D., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, for the 2019-20 court term. While at the Appellate Division, he conducted legal research, and both edited and drafted memoranda and opinions for various matters on appeal. These included appeals from civil, criminal, family, and chancery matters, as well as appeals from agency decisions. Izik earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A. from The College of New Jersey.
Jessica joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Jessica worked in a small firm and handled a variety of civil litigation matters including personal injury, breach of contract, and malpractice cases. She also handled probate and immigration cases from time to time. Jessica earned her J.D. from Santa Clara Law School and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Courtney joins the Dallas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation and Employment Law practice groups. Her employment practice includes representing companies in claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour violations, whistleblower claims and other actions under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and other federal and state laws, both at the administrative level and in litigation. She is involved in all phases of litigation including discovery, drafting motions, and trial preparation, as well as pre-litigation phases, including handling administrative charges and mediations with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Courtney earned her J.D. from Baylor Law School and her B.B.A. from Texas A&M University.
Paul joins the Denver office as a member of the Insurance and Professional Liability Defense practice groups. Paul earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Arkansas, Fulbright College of Arts and Science.
Calvert joins the Dallas office as a member of the Employment Law, Professional Liability Defense, and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Calvert earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law and his B.S. from Oklahoma State University.
Hanna joins the Chicago office as a member of the Insurance practice group. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Hanna was a law clerk for the Honorable William E. Duffin at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Hanna earned her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and her B.A. from Georgetown University.
Maria joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. She focuses her practice on manufacturers and retailers' defense in consumer class actions, product liability, commercial litigation, consumer warranty, and fraud-related litigation. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Maria worked at a mid-size civil defense firm in San Francisco. While there, her practice included work on landlord-tenant disputes, specifically rent ordinance violations, in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Maria earned her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law and her B.A. from University of California, Davis.
Elizabeth joins the Dallas office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She currently concentrates her practice on defending corporations in a variety of toxic tort, product liability, and environmental litigation matters involving exposure to talcum powder, asbestos, and other chemicals. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Elizabeth worked on multi-million dollar acquisitions, entity formations, contractual disputes, and was additionally involved in all stages of litigation for premises liability and breach of contract cases. Elizabeth earned her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law and her B.S. from Sam Houston State University.
Anastasia joins the San Diego office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. She regularly defends clients in commercial/business disputes, as well as employment-related matters such as DFEH and EEOC claims, wage and hour/PAGA claims, and directors / officers litigation. She has also served as general outside counsel for several corporate clients, addressing such issues as trademark and copyright registration and infringement claims. Anastasia earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law and her B.A. from San Diego State University.
Ryan joins the Hartford office as a member of the Business Transactions and Cyber, Privacy & Data Security practice groups. He assists clients in operational, governance and compliance matters with a particular emphasis on privacy and data security in regulated industries including the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act among others. Ryan was formerly an associate at a boutique firm focused solely on data privacy and cybersecurity matters. In this role, he assisted clients across a variety of industries in compliance matters and in assessing and responding to data security incidents. Ryan earned his J.D. from Temple University and his B.S. from West Chester University.
Christopher joins the New York office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on data privacy/security and technology litigation and breach response, as well as professional liability and commercial litigation. His practice involves defending a broad range of clients including insurance professionals, insurance brokers and agents, insurance carriers, attorneys, law firms, directors and officers, manufacturers, construction companies, transportation companies, municipal corporations, health care professionals, health care institutions, and other entities and individuals against claims of civil liability in high-exposure, complex litigation. Christopher earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his B.A. from Duke University.
Kendra joins the Raleigh office as a member of the Health Care practice group. She as experience handling a wide variety of litigation matters, including medical malpractice defense, professional liability defense, wrongful death and catastrophic injury defense, construction defect and other tort-based litigation. Kendra earned her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and her B.A. from Liberty University.
Lauren joins the Portland (ME) office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. She has experience representing national and multinational creditors in complex litigation actions including class action lawsuits, contested foreclosures, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, quiet title actions, constructive eviction actions and cases with alleged violations of local, state and federal lending and consumer protection statutes and regulations. Lauren earned her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law and her B.A. from Boston University.
Jeffrey joins the Irvine office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Jeffrey earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Tiffany joins the Alexandria office as a member of the Employment Law and Commercial Litigation practice groups. She has experience in handling a diverse range of subject areas from products liability to violations of restrictive covenants to claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination. Her employment practice involves a wide variety of matters in all aspects of the litigation process, including the representation of employers in actions before the U.S. Equal Employment Commission and the Offices of Human Rights for the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Tiffany earned her J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign.
Pamela joins the Nashville office as a member of the Commercial Litigation and Insurance practice groups. She defends individuals, private businesses, insurers, non-profit agencies, and religious institutions against claims of negligence, fraud, and breach of contract. She also has pursued recovery on behalf of insurers through subrogation, contribution and indemnity, and declaratory judgment actions. Pamela earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and her B.A. from Auburn University.
