Patrick Burns Joins Gordon & Rees as Partner in Alexandria and D.C. Offices

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Patrick Burns as a partner in the firm’s Alexandria, Virginia and Washington, D.C. offices. Burns joins the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Employment practice groups.  He was previously with PilieroMazza PLLC.

Burns has significant litigation and trial experience in state and federal courts in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland.  He has successfully represented commercial businesses in a variety of litigation matters, involving a diverse range of issues, such as employment, wage and hour claims, defamation, corporate defense, class action defense, and contractual disputes.  Burns has a particular focus on the construction, franchise, information technology, and government contracting industries, including bid protests at the Government Accountability Office.

Burns is admitted in all state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., and is a member of the Fairfax, Virginia, and District of Columbia Bar Associations.

He earned his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University.
