Overview

In March of 2012, GRSM continued its national expansion with the opening of its office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the 24th GRSM office nationwide. Since it originally opened with seven lawyers, the Pittsburgh office has grown by more than five times and continues to aggressively pursue growth in the region.

The Pittsburgh office is equipped with a multitude of skilled litigators who specialize in commercial, healthcare, product liability, toxic tort, employment, insurance coverage, antitrust, class action and construction litigation.  Many of the most influential corporations in Western Pennsylvania call GRSM their counsel.  Representing national, multi-billion dollar companies as well as regional multi-million dollar companies, the Pittsburgh attorneys have appeared across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the nation in all levels of state and federal court.  Members of the Pittsburgh office also have a wealth of experience in captive insurance company and risk retention group formation, management and oversight, as well as related transactional and regulatory experience.

Another focus of the Pittsburgh office is in the energy arena; its lawyers represent many of the area’s dominant energy corporations in real estate matters and litigation.  The energy practice allows the office to expand into other real estate representation on a national basis.

Though involved in high-stakes litigation across the country, the attorneys in the Pittsburgh office are also active in and committed to the local community through several local non-profit boards and pro bono activities.
