Paralegal/Legal Nurse Consultant
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, has an immediate opening for a Paralegal/Nurse Consultant in our Salt Lake City office. Ideal candidate must have a general background in personal injury/medical malpractice experience (defense side). The firm offers a friendly, business casual environment with a competitive salary. Possibility for part-time/hourly or salaried full-time as well as flexible options for successful candidates, including hybrid (remote/in-office) opportunities.
Candidates should have a solid knowledge of litigation support and case management, including organizing large caseloads, discovery, trial preparation and experience assisting at trial, and familiarity with Utah and Federal rules of civil procedure. Responsibilities include client contact, document review and production, drafting and responding to discovery, indexing, exhibit preparation, investigation and perform legal research.

Qualifications:
- Personal injury/medical malpractice defense experience is required
- Experience in reviewing medical records, preparing medical chronologies
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- ABA approved Paralegal certificate (preferred)
- Management of multiple case deadlines, deposition coordination, drafting pleadings and discovery
- Highly organized and ability to work independently
- Client reporting and general support for attorneys and team members
- Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity or comparable litigation support software
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Familiarity with trial presentation software such as Sanction or Trial Director
Salary $25.00 – $35.00/hour DOE
