G. Dewey Hembree III is an experienced trial attorney who advises clients on commercial litigation with a focus on title insurance, consumer finance, and business disputes. In his 30 years of practice, he has represented clients in more than 100 trials to verdict, including numerous jury trials, in state and federal courts throughout Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas. He has also handled cases before bankruptcy and appellate courts.

Dewey defends title insurance companies and their insureds in litigation arising from disputes over both lender’s and owner’s policies as well as in general litigation matters. He represents mortgage lenders and servicers and other entities in consumer finance litigation.

Dewey also advises in complex real estate and other business and commercial transactions. He represents clients in commercial and residential real estate ventures and advises privately held businesses and startups in all aspects of business formation and corporate governance. He also helps clients obtain appropriate licenses, permits, and other state and local authorizations including zoning approvals.

Dorisa Shahmirzai

Dorisa Shahmirzai is a litigator with emphasis on government contracts, business litigation, and constitutional challenges to federal and state statutes. She defends public entities and private clients in civil rights, and general liability. Her practice includes defending constitutional violation claims of excessive force, false arrest, and unlawful seizures, as well as claims of negligence, and dangerous condition of public property. She is honing her skills as a trial attorney.

She also has a wealth of experience in entertainment and technology-based transactions, including intellectual property acquisitions and licensing strategies for entertainment, high technology and life science clients.

Dorisa clerked with San Francisco Superior Court, Law and Motion. She spent a year at Clifford Chance in Spain. She has also served as adjunct faculty at UCLA extension, teaching a course on negotiating deals in media and entertainment. She has authored articles on Copyrights at LA Lawyer Magazine and been selected in the Super Lawyers Rising Star list. Dorisa is currently serving as the City of Los Angeles Region 3 Representative in areas of clean energy and sustainability via public forums.

Cecilia J. Hong

Cecilia Hong represents businesses of all sizes across a range of industries and focuses her practice on the defense of wage and hour disputes, class actions, whistleblower claims, and wrongful termination. Her practice spans both state and federal courts, where she adeptly handles all phases of employment disputes.

In addition to her litigation practice, Cecilia has extensive experience acting in an advisory capacity on behalf of her clients on matters including employee privacy rights, terminations, investigations into employee complaints, and employee relations, discipline, and compensation.

Adam C. Arnold

Adam V.C. Arnold focuses his practice on product liability, healthcare, employment law, and toxic tort law. Adam has experience defending individuals, corporations, and semi-governmental corporations in a variety of litigation including, premises liability, transportation, security, and environmental and toxic torts. Additionally, Adam has previous experience representing individuals and families in a variety of family law matters.
