Gordon & Rees Earns 100 Percent on 2018 Corporate Equality Index

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani is pleased to announce that it received a perfect score of 100 on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

“Gordon & Rees is honored to receive this distinction from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation," said Franz Hardy, chair of the firm’s National Diversity Committee.  "It further strengthens our long-standing and ongoing commitment to workplace equality for all individuals.”

The 2018 CEI rated more than 1,000 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Gordon & Rees’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.

"Achieving a perfect score was an important milestone for the firm in 2016, and we are very pleased to have repeated this accomplishment in 2017 and 2018 as we continue to champion all facets of workplace diversity, equality and inclusion as an organization, said Dion Cominos, firmwide managing partner."

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is the educational arm of America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people. By inspiring and engaging all Americans, HRC strives to end discrimination against LGBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
