On June 10, Gordon & Rees New York partner Diane Krebs will present at Salem Media New York’s “Paying the Price to Be Successful” networking breakfast.
At the breakfast, to be held from 7 a.m.-9 a.m. at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, N.J., Ms. Krebs will discuss the “Top 10 Mistakes Employers Make – And How to Avoid or Correct Them.” Business owner and attorney Bart Oates – formerly of the New York Giants and a three-time Super Bowl champion – will give the keynote presentation.
WMCA AM 570’s Kevin McCullough will host the event, which will be broadcast live by Joe Piscopo and the morning team from AM 970. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the NJ Sharing Network.
Ms. Krebs’ practice focuses on civil rights and labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, defamation, civil service, equal pay, and wage-and-hour claims. She represents companies in litigation before federal, state and local courts, mediators and arbitrators, and administrative agencies including the New York State Division of Human Rights and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Ms. Krebs also provides comprehensive counseling and advice to corporate owners and human resources personnel on daily issues and personnel decisions that arise in the workplace, including litigation avoidance and/or minimization techniques.
