Phoenix Office co-managing partner Leon Silver will serve as host and moderator of a panel discussion at the annual State Bar of Arizona CLE by the Sea program this July at the Del Coronado Hotel in Coronado, California.

The panel discussion, titled “The Perils of Connectivity: Privacy & Data Security on the Internet of Things” is part one of a three part morning track on data security for businesses.  A co-chair of the Business Track, Silver's panel will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 from 8:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The discussion will present an advanced view of the Internet of Things. The panel will explore the legal and business ramifications of a more connected world. Central to this will be a discussion of how information security and data management must become core business principles and how connected business operations have led to a myriad of legal problems beyond data breach litigation.

Panelists joining Silver are:

Daniel Oseran, Senior Director and Counsel, Global Privacy, Business, Ethics & Compliance, eBay Inc.;
