Bay Area Employment Duo Serves as Featured Panelists at the BASF Barrister’s Eighth Annual Meeting

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Bay Area employment partner Mollie Burks and senior counsel Sara Moore will deliver an interactive breakout session titled "Becoming a Master Negotiator: Insights into Mediations and ADR" on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) Barristers' Eighth Annual Meeting. UC Hastings Adjunct Professor and JAMS Neutral, Shirish Gupta, will join the Gordon & Rees team in delivering an insightful presentation on the ADR process and provides practical tips to sharpen their negotiation skills.

The Barristers Club Annual Meeting is a full-day event held at the BASF Conference Center in San Francisco. The meeting is designed to give attorneys and law students the opportunity to further their professional development while networking with the legal community.

Mollie Burks is a partner in the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices and a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Groups. Ms. Burks specializes in litigating complex multi-plaintiff and class action wage and hour cases in state and federal court. She is among a small group of lawyers who has taken a wage and hour class action case to trial in California Superior Court. She also handles litigation involving claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. 

Sara Moore is senior counsel in the San Francisco office and is a member of the Employment Practice Group.  Ms. Moore represents clients ranging from healthcare facilities and private and public educational institutions to companies in the high-tech, hospitality, and agriculture industries. She defends employers in all phases of litigation including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation and whistleblower claims, Title IX, breach of contract, and alleged wage and hour violations.  She handles single plaintiff and class action matters in state and federal courts, as well claims before state and federal administrative agencies.
