Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes back Cecilia Hong as a Partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Hong, who practiced with the firm from 2022 to February 2025, returns to further strengthen the Employment practice and support the firm’s continued growth in Southern California.
“I rejoined GRSM because of its unparalleled commitment to collaboration and professional growth,” shared Hong. “The mentorship I received here was truly unmatched, and it played a pivotal role in shaping my career and my decision to return to the firm.”
Hong represents businesses of all sizes across various industries, focusing her practice on defending wage and hour disputes, class actions, whistleblower claims, and wrongful termination cases. Her practice spans both state and federal courts, where she adeptly handles all phases of employment disputes.
In addition to her litigation practice, Hong has extensive experience acting in an advisory capacity on behalf of her clients, addressing matters such as employee privacy rights, terminations, investigations into employee complaints, and employee relations, discipline, and compensation.
She is admitted to practice in California. She earned her law degree from Chapman University School of Law and her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Southern California.
“We are thrilled to welcome Cecilia back to GRSM as a Partner,” said Debra Ellwood Meppen, National Chair of the Employment Practice. “Cecilia is the third attorney to return to our Los Angeles team, which speaks to the quality of our culture, the mentorship we provide, and the meaningful opportunities available at the firm. We are proud that talented attorneys who explore other opportunities choose to return, recognizing that the grass is not always greener elsewhere.”
