Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has opened a new office in Charlotte, further strengthening the firm’s presence in the Carolinas and expanding its national platform in one of the Southeast’s fastest growing business markets.
The Charlotte office builds on the firm’s established North Carolina footprint and follows its recent growth in South Carolina, including the addition of seven attorneys in Charleston. Together, these developments reflect the firm’s continued investment in the Carolinas as a region experiencing sustained commercial development and increased client demand across multiple industries.
“Charlotte has been a strategic priority for the firm as our client base across the Carolinas continues to grow,” said Allison Becker, Office Managing Partner of the firm’s Raleigh and Charlotte offices. “Establishing a Charlotte office with attorneys on the ground allows us to deepen client relationships in the region while delivering the same coordinated representation they expect from our national platform.”
The Charlotte office is home to Partners Erin Young and Christi Hunoval, along with a growing team of attorneys and staff, including Senior Counsel Austin Kessler and Laura Brook, and Associates Edward Russell II, Maya Davis, and Devin Honbarger. Local leadership is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, engaging work environment that supports professional development, collaboration, and long-term career growth.
The Charlotte team represents local, national, and international clients in commercial litigation, financial services, professional liability, healthcare, construction, and general liability matters. Several attorneys in the office also bring prior in-house counsel experience, providing practical insight into business operations, risk management, and regulatory considerations.
“Our expansion in Charlotte reflects where our clients are doing business and where demand continues to grow,” said Peter Siachos, who serves as the firm’s Regional Oversight Partner in the Southeast. “By building on our existing presence in North Carolina, and the Carolinas more broadly, we are well-positioned to support clients throughout the region while remaining fully integrated with our nationwide platform.”
The Charlotte office is located in Uptown Charlotte at One South, a premier commercial building situated at the center of the city’s legal and financial corridors. Positioned on the 25th floor at 101 S. Tryon Street, the office offers convenient access to federal and state courthouses, major financial institutions, and corporate headquarters that anchor the region’s economy.
