Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani recently welcomed Partners Randi Hyatt, Paul Piland, and Sandra Adams to its Baltimore, Atlanta, and Nashville offices, respectively. Their backgrounds in labor and employment, commercial litigation, and general liability matters further strengthen the firm’s capabilities in the Southeast and nationwide.

Hyatt focuses her practice on labor and employment matters, advising businesses and their leaders on employment law concerns and defending employers against employment litigation claims. She represents clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, protected medical leave, wrongful termination, breaches of employment agreements, and other workplace claims. Hyatt has a developed reputation in handling complex and high-level workplace investigations, often serving as an external investigator for other law firms and their clients. Hyatt also has particular interest in helping employers navigate the impact and governance of AI in the workplace. She is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Maryland and the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Piland focuses his practice on commercial litigation, representing individuals and entities at all stages of the legal process. As an experienced litigator and trial lawyer, he applies his background to seek efficient and cost-effective results for his clients. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, Texas, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.
Adams focuses her practice on general liability coverage and commercial litigation matters. She brings more than 30 years of professional experience in law, business, accounting, and court administration to her practice, giving her a practical, analytical perspective. Detail-oriented and strategic, she draws on her legal and business acumen to evaluate complex issues and develop effective solutions. She listens to her clients, understands their priorities, and focuses her representation on achieving their objectives. She is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
