Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Hawai’i Managing Partner Bennett J. Chin and Associate Sabrina M. Kawana earned recognition for their legal achievements from Hawaii Business Magazine in its June 2026 issue.
Mr. Chin was named among the magazine’s list of Top Attorneys for Business, which spotlights the top attorneys making an impact in Hawai‘i’s business community. Ms. Kawana was recognized among the magazine’s list of Emerging Legal Stars, which recognizes 16 rising legal professionals with ten or fewer years of practice making an impact in Hawai‘i’s legal community.
Mr. Chin’s practice is primarily focused on representing and counseling architects and engineers. His construction law practice includes construction defect claims, delay impact and loss productivity claims, professional negligence claims, construction contract and payment disputes.
Ms. Kawana is an Associate in the firm’s Construction and Commercial Litigation practice groups. She defends design professionals and other construction industry clients in complex commercial litigation throughout Hawai‘i, including construction defect matters involving high-rise condominiums, residential developments, hotels, commercial properties, and large scale renovation projects. She also handles a variety of commercial disputes, tort claims, and products liability matters.
