Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani proudly celebrates the seventh anniversary of its becoming the first and only full-service law firm with offices and attorneys in all 50 states. Since launching its innovative 50-state platform in April 2019, GRSM has experienced extraordinary growth across markets, practices, and client relationships.
In the past seven years, GRSM has expanded its footprint with 20 new offices in both major and secondary markets and doubled its attorney headcount, growing from 940 to more than 2000 lawyers. This growth has propelled GRSM from the 40th to the 11th largest law firm in the United States, according to Law360, while also driving a significant rise on the Am Law 100 rankings, from #103 in 2019 to #70 in 2026. GRSM has served nearly half of the Fortune 500, a testament to its deep bench of lawyers and national capabilities.
“Our growth has been purposefully aligned with that of our clients,” shared Firmwide Managing Partner Dion Cominos. “GRSM’s unique 50-state platform allows us to seamlessly support our clients’ operations as they scale across the country without sacrificing consistency, efficiency, or quality.”
Miles Scully, named partner, Chairman Emeritus, and nationally recognized trial attorney, was the key driver of the 50-state platform. “From the outset, our focus was on building a fully integrated national platform, not just a footprint,” said Scully. “Seven years in, that platform continues to deliver consistent, high-quality service to clients wherever they operate and remains a strong driver of our unprecedented growth.”
Adam Sugarman, who will assume the role of Firmwide Managing Partner in June 2026, brings a strong vision for the firm’s continued growth. “We are building on a strong foundation,” said Sugarman. “With six new offices opened in the past year alone, we are focused on continuing to invest in fast-growing and secondary markets. Our platform creates opportunity, both for our clients and our attorneys, no matter where they are based.”
The firm’s growth has also been reflected across its partnership and attorney ranks. Since 2019, GRSM has doubled the percentage of women equity partners from 12% to 24%. At present, women represent 49% of the firm’s attorneys, including 38% of partners and 55% of associates.
As GRSM builds on the continued success of its 50-state platform, the firm remains focused on delivering exceptional service, ensuring that clients nationwide have seamless access to top-tier legal talent wherever they do business.
