Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Miami Partner Capri Trigo and Associate Drew Dymowski obtained summary judgment in a premises liability case on behalf of the firm’s residential property client after several years of litigation.
In the motion, GRSM argued that the subject incident was a targeted attack arising from a dispute between the plaintiffs and a third party, for which the property did not owe a duty and was not legally responsible. Despite extensive deposition testimony, the court agreed that the plaintiffs failed to meet their burden of establishing a genuine issue of material fact.
